SortFin Privacy Policy
SortFin respects your privacy and explains how WhatsApp, payment, and account data are handled when you use the service. SortFin is a WhatsApp-first payments and expense tracker built for apartments, hostels, academies, and small businesses.
WhatsApp integration
SortFin uses the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API to receive payment-related messages and forwarded content. It only processes messages and media you explicitly send to SortFin. It does not access your full WhatsApp conversations, contact list, or unrelated messages.
Information SortFin collects
- Account information such as name, email address, phone number, and organization details
- WhatsApp text, screenshots, and other forwarded payment or expense-related content
- Payment and expense records created through the service
- Operational usage data needed for product functionality and security
AI and data handling
SortFin may use AI-assisted extraction and transcription to help organize payment and expense records. The service is built to reduce manual work in record-keeping. SortFin does not position itself as a payment processor or a money movement platform.
Your choices
